The story of Chet Baker is legendary. Beautiful, talented, adored, Chet Baker was one of the seminal figures of west coast jazz in the 1950s and 1960s. His worldwide acclaim and remarkable artistry was not to be ignored. However, there was a deep tragic undertow that followed him throughout his short life...drugs. It would take everything from him...except his legend.

I love his music. Always have. As I charter my course into the world of these new portraits, to include Chet Baker was a must for me. He's given me so much pleasure throughout my life. A tribute to him is only fitting.
