I'm a sucker for greatness and artistry. That's why I've enjoyed working on portraits of my heroes.

Don Rickles, the comedian, was just that...great. His "insult comedy" made the audience think, laugh, and feel good. Even if it was a "put down," there was something remarkable about Rickles' delivery of a joke. It landed, but didn't hurt.
