The Sammy Davis Jr. Portraits

There wasn't anything that Sammy Davis Jr. couldn't do well. As a singer, actor, dancer, and even a drummer, he set a standard that few could match. He was truly a renaissance performer. I loved him as a child, and I miss him as an adult.

 

Part of what I love about portraits is how it keeps memories alive. With these pieces, I’d like to remind viewers of the magic that Sammy brought our world one verse at a time. My hope is that viewers will continue to discover Sammy's performances and appreciate the gifts he brought to the world of entertainment.

Each Sammy Davis Jr. portrait measures 24"x 24" on archival paper and is crafted with silkscreen, oil stick, collage and (some utilize) colored inks. All portraits are signed and ship with Certificates of Authenticity.
